Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)

At Sri Venkateshwara College of Architecture (SVCA), we offer a rigorous five-year full-time Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program designed to cultivate creative, analytical, and technical skills essential for the evolving field of architecture. Our curriculum emphasizes experiential learning, integrating design studios with real-world projects to prepare students for professional practice.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the B.Arch program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.   • Entrance Examination: Valid score in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) or JEE Main Paper 2. SVCA is an authorized NATA test center, facilitating a seamless admission process for aspiring students.

Admission Process

  • Registration: Candidates must register and appear for NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 as per the guidelines provided by the respective examination authorities.​

  • Application to SVCA: Post obtaining a valid entrance score, candidates should apply to SVCA through our official admissions portal or by contacting the admissions office directly.

  • Counseling and Seat Allocation: Admissions are granted based on the merit list prepared considering the entrance examination scores and academic performance.

Master of Architecture (M.Arch)

The M.Arch program at Sri Venkateshwara College of Architecture (SVCA) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course designed for graduates who aspire to deepen their understanding of architectural theory, advanced design, and research-based practice.

Our curriculum bridges design thinking with sustainable solutions, technological integration, and critical analysis, making our postgraduates future-ready professionals and educators in the field of architecture.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into the M.Arch program, applicants must fulfill the following:

  • Educational Qualification:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.

  • Entrance Examination:
    Candidates must have a valid score in PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) or equivalent national-level entrance examinations like GATE (Architecture & Planning).

Admission Process

  1. Register and qualify in PGECET or GATE with Architecture & Planning as the subject.
  2. Apply to SVCA:
    Submit an application to SVCA via our official website or by visiting the admissions office with all relevant documents.
  3. Merit-Based Selection:
    Admission will be granted based on entrance exam performance, B.Arch academic record, and seat availability.
  4. Counseling & Confirmation:
    Eligible candidates will be invited for document verification and counseling before confirming admission.
